SARANAC LAKE- Ben Kline has
been helping Rob Grant & Associates client's buy and sell homes since 2003.
He uses his 20+ years of Customer Service and Sales experience to listen and understand
his client's needs prior to offering a suitable solution. His ability to see the
potential value of a property allows him to make suggestions to help get the most
value when they sell. This combined with his negotiating skills, have enabled
his sellers to retain on average 94% of their listing price even in a down economy.
Ben moved to the Adirondacks as a young child living in Keene Valley and
Lake Placid. As he grew up, he spent time in Suburban Philadelphia before deciding
that he preferred the small community feel of Bethel, Maine while attending Gould
Academy. He attended Penn State University at Mont Alto before returning to the
Adirondacks to start his sales career. As the start of the Gulf War was looming,
Ben enlisted in the US Navy and spent his time as an Ocean Systems Technician
Analyst in Oak Harbor, WA on Whidbey Island. Returning home to the Adirondacks,
Ben started with the American Management Association where he has been for nearly
15 years, currently working as a Regional Account Manager in the Corporate Learning
Solutions group.
Ben is married to Melissa and has two wonderful sons,
Conor & Thomas. He recently experienced the buying and selling of local real
estate as he and his family moved from the Village of Saranac Lake to a 4+ acre
property in Bloomingdale so the children could be closer to their grandparents,
Ann & Gar Munn. Ben spends much of his free time with family, working on projects
around the house, tinkering with vintage cars, golfing, boating on the lake and
riding his BMW motorcycle.
Ben is Chairman of the Tendercare Tot Center
board of directors, member of the Northern Adirondack Board of Realtors, National
Association of Realtors and founder of the weekly vintage and classic car night
that runs every Tuesday during the summer months.
